These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Gitchat's applications, websites, APIs, and related services (the "Services"), operated by GitchatSH ("we", "us", or "our"). By signing in or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Services. By using Gitchat, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

Gitchat uses third-party identity providers including GitHub and Apple Sign in. You are responsible for safeguarding access to the account(s) linked to your Gitchat profile. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You retain ownership of messages, code, and other content you post ("User Content"). You grant Gitchat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Services.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights to post it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, logos, and trademarks, are owned by GitchatSH and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Gitchat integrates with GitHub, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other third-party platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GITCHATSH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the app or on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
